KanKouran’s Weekly Community Dance and Drum Classes for Adults, Teens, and Children!
KanKouran’s weekly classes provide instruction in the traditional dance styles of select West African cultural groups. Classes include a short warm-up, a breakdown of the dance steps, and the execution of the movements down the floor accompanied by the drums. Because classes are held on an ongoing basis, you are welcome to join us at any time. Registration is not required, and you may pay in advance or at the door. Our children’s dance and drum classes are only offered on Saturdays. We do not have an age limit for children. However, they should be able to take the class without being accompanied by a parent. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.
